About The Dwight Clark Legacy Series Fundraiser

The Dwight Clark Legacy Series, founded in 2021, is a speaker series that celebrates the legacy of Dwight Clark, the legendary wide receiver who passed away from ALS in 2018. The annual event features informative and entertaining conversations with current and former 49ers, as well as the presentation of the Dwight Clark Award, which honors the current player who best exemplifies Dwight’s spirit of teamwork and camaraderie. Proceeds from the event benefit a REACH Youth Scholarship in the name of Dwight Clark and The Golden Heart Fund, which provides assistance to former 49ers in need as they navigate challenges in their lives after football.
